After a challenging and unpredictable journey, we’re thrilled to be stronger than ever, ready to provide unforgettable Scottish experiences . Whether you’re exploring Outlander filming locations , discovering the magic of the Scottish Highlands , or diving into the history of Scotland’s legendary sites , we’re here to make your dream adventure a reality.

Overcoming Challenges

The pandemic brought unprecedented obstacles for tour operators worldwide, and we were no exception. Refunds, chargebacks, and financial uncertainty created hurdles we couldn’t have foreseen. For those who followed us during that time, you may remember Catriona’s daily live updates , keeping you informed with complete transparency.

One particularly difficult situation involved an organization (who will remain nameless) that tested our resolve. They requested last-minute changes to their booking, requiring a larger vehicle, and initiated balance chargebacks just two weeks before their tour. Shockingly, they still visited Scotland, using the itinerary we carefully planned for them , but with a different guide. Even more astonishing, they expected us to cover their costs, including unpaid accommodation fees, while failing to pay us for our services.

We have since heard that guides who worked with this organization have also bad-mouthed us, spreading misinformation without ever approaching us directly to hear our side of the story. While we would not normally call out such behavior, the gravity of this incident nearly ruined our business , and we are still picking up the pieces of our reputation.

We want to make it clear that we will not lower ourselves to name-calling or unprofessional conduct. Instead, we have a proper complaints procedure in place for anyone who wishes to contact us. We also extend an open invitation to anyone involved: please reach out if you have questions or concerns. We are happy to explain what happened and provide evidence, including copies of the threats we received.

For anyone who requested a chargeback during this period, we want to assure you that we never withheld anyone’s funds. Chargeback refunds are processed by the banks, and it can take up to 90 days for the funds to reappear in your account. Unfortunately, this timeline was beyond our control, but we always acted with honesty and transparency.

Taking Responsibility

We also want to take some responsibility for what happened. In the midst of this chaos, there was a lack of communication, especially when we didn’t have answers to provide. For that, we are truly sorry. We understand how frustrating and unsettling this must have been for our guests.

We have learned from this experience and have introduced new terms and conditions that will protect both our guests and our business from similar situations in the future. These updates ensure clearer communication, greater transparency, and safeguards to prevent misunderstandings or delays.
